Industrial cleaning bath monitoring and maintenance //
Using analytical measuring technology for cleaning, rinsing, coating or treatment baths, provides continuous monitoring of the bath concentration. The cleaning and degreasing baths may use sensors to measure the concentration of the cleaning agent; and in coating and plating baths, analysis of the anticorrosive agent is important. Also, etching and pickling baths use acids and alkalis. The measuring technology has to be designed for use in corrosive materials. LiquiSonic® analyzers, by SensoTech, are used for corrosive and non-corrosive process materials. The sensors are stainless steel DIN 1.4571, or for corrosive liquids, special corrosion-resistant materials are available.
Since a concentration decreases during process, re-dosing may be accurate using the analyzer, for best product quality and lower costs. The degree of contamination may be analyzed for bath changes. A consistent cleaning bath improves facility efficiencies, lowers energy, and saves material costs.

LiquiSonic® measure concentrations inline, and can be integrated into any system, installed in a pipe or bath, improving process capability, maintenance-free. Designed for environments with high ambient temperatures and vibrations, the housing is mounted away from the sensor.
The controller displays concentration values, saves data, and trend view shows process status any time. Used with a desktop workstation to read and summarize data. With automated process’s, data will be transmitted via 4-20 mA signal, fieldbus (Profibus DP, Modbus), serial ports or Ethernet, to the controls system.
